This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our software platforms (GridGuard OS, GridLogix Core, AgriSense AI), or deploy our hardware.

Please note: Gridbrains primarily operates as a Business-to-Business (B2B) enterprise. The majority of the data we process is done on behalf of our enterprise clients.

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to you or your enterprise operations. This includes:

A. Enterprise Account Information

• Contact Details: Names, business email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses of account administrators.
• Authentication Data: Usernames, hashed passwords, and biometric authentication logs for accessing Gridbrains control dashboards.
• Billing Information: Payment details and billing addresses for SaaS subscriptions and hardware procurement.

B. Telemetry and Hardware Data

When you deploy Gridbrains hardware (Sentry, Carrier, or AgriRover), our systems collect telemetry data necessary for safe autonomous operation:

• Spatial Mapping (LiDAR): 3D point-cloud data used to navigate environments and map physical boundaries.
• Hardware Health Metrics: Battery voltage, motor temperatures, acoustic vibration logs, and network connection status.
• Location Data: GPS and localized mesh-network coordinates to track fleet positions in real-time.

C. Sensor and Processing Data (Client Data)

Our robots collect environmental data on your behalf. Gridbrains acts as a data processor for this information:

• Visual Data: Optical and thermal video feeds captured during patrols or inspections.
• Biometric/Facial Data: If enabled via GridGuard OS, facial recognition vectors used strictly for your internal access control and threat detection.
• Environmental Telemetry: Optical Gas Imaging (OGI), thermal anomalies, and analog gauge readings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly for the following operational purposes:

• Service Delivery: To operate, maintain, and provide the functionalities of your robotic fleet and software dashboards.
• Safety and Collision Avoidance: Processing spatial and telemetry data locally to ensure the physical safety of humans and machinery around our robots.
• Predictive Maintenance: Analyzing anonymized hardware health metrics to alert you of potential mechanical failures before they occur.
• Security: To detect, prevent, and investigate cyber-physical threats, unauthorized access, or fraudulent activities.

3. Edge-Processing and Data Minimization

Gridbrains adheres to a strict "Edge-First" data processing philosophy. A vast majority of the heavy computational data—such as high-resolution video streams and spatial mapping—is processed locally on the robot's Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

Unless explicitly configured by the client to export feeds to a central Video Management System (VMS) or cloud storage, raw video and spatial data are not transmitted to Gridbrains cloud servers. Only lightweight, encrypted metadata (e.g., bounding box coordinates, threat alerts, and system health) is transmitted.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal or enterprise data. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who provide cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Azure), secure payment processing, or customer support infrastructure, bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Obligations: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
• Business Transfers: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5. Data Security (Zero-Trust Architecture)

We implement enterprise-grade technical and organizational measures to secure your data:

• Encryption: All data in transit is secured using TLS 1.3. All data at rest on robotic solid-state drives and cloud databases is encrypted using AES-256.
• Hardware Root of Trust: Our robotics utilize secure boot sequences to prevent malicious firmware hijacking.
• Access Control: We enforce strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication for all dashboard environments.

6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
